Right-click on My Computer and select Properties

Right-click on My Computer and select Properties. Select the Advanced Tab and then click Environment Variables. Make a new System Variable. Give the variable name GAIMHOME and direct it to the desired location (shared location on a network drive, for instance).

  1. Right-click on My Computer and select Properties
