  2. “No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only, who is at the Father’s side, has made him known.” John 1:18 NIV

  3. “Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.” Jesus answered, “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work.” John 14:8- 10 NIV

  4. No one has ever Seen God but Jesus • Jesus was with God in the beginning • He existed with God before the creation – John 1:1-3, 14; Colossians 1:15-20 • Jesus is One with God – John 14:5-11; Colossians 2:9

  5. No one has ever Seen God but Jesus • Jesus has made God known to us • He is the exact representation of God – Hebrews 1:1-3 • Everything Jesus said, everything He taught and everything He did was revelation from God the Father – John 1:18; 5:19; 6:38; 7:17; 8:29; 14:5-11, 31

  6. No one can Approach God without Jesus • Jesus is the only Mediator between God and man • He is the only one qualified to be our Mediator – 1 Timothy 2:5-6; Hebrews 4:14-16 • Jesus speaks to the Father in our defense – 1 John 2:1-2

  7. No one can Approach God without Jesus • Jesus is our Intercessor with God • We pray to the Father in the name of Jesus – John 14:12-14 • Jesus ever lives to intercede for us – Hebrews 7:23-25

  8. No one can Go to God except through Jesus • Jesus is the Way to God • There is no other way! – John 14:6; Acts 4:12 • All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God – Romans 3:23; 6:23 • Jesus offered His own life as an atoning sacrifice for our sins!– Isaiah 53:4-6; Romans 5:6-8

  9. No one can Go to God except through Jesus • Jesus is the Truth of God • He is the absolute Truth – John 14:6b • He is the source and originator of all truth – John 18:37 • Everything Jesus ever said is true!

  10. No one can Go to God except through Jesus • Jesus is the Life of God • Jesus is the Giver of all life! – John 14:6c; 11:24-25; Colossians 1:16-17 • He gives abundant life to those who trust in Him – John 10:10

  11. How to Seek God through Jesus Christ • Must put our complete trust in Jesus • Must believe that Jesus is who He claims to be – John 8:24 • Must believe the gospel – 1 Corinthians 15:1-4

  12. How to Seek God through Jesus Christ • Must be born again • Born of the water and the Spirit – John 3:3-5; Mark 16:15-16; Acts 2:38 • Begin life anew – John 3:3-5; Matthew 16:24; Romans 12:1-2; 2 Cor. 5:17
