Did you know that your heart pumps over 2,000 gallons of blood a day? That is like 2,000 gallons of milk.
That’s a lot of work for a little organ that is about the size of your fist. An adult’s heart is the size of two of a child’s fists.

“Cardio” means heart and “vascular” means your veins and arteries. So cardiovascular fitness means the fitness of your circulatory system.
How many times a week should I exercise my heart? • Answer: From 3-5 times a week.
How long should I exercise? • Answer: Between 15-20 minutes of aerobic exercise.
