ASSET CREATION - HOW TO IMPROVE MATERIAL INTAKE….? • Taking up more individual works • Diversification – interventions in Schools & public land • Convergence with other departments for individual works • Engaging more skilled/semi skilled workers • Train and upgrade NREGS workers to semi skilled/skilled workers – 3 x increase in wages – lowering of PD will not be a problem • More works with sufficient material component

METHODOLOGY FOR INDIVIDUAL ASSET CREATION • Implementation • Beneficiary led – amount reimbursed after submission of GST bills • LSGI led – through tender process • Model estimates prepared and trainings given • Selection of beneficiaries • SECC list • Gramasabha list (Priority should be given to Para 5 category)
