  2. Test tubes Water tank Battery eliminator Cables and clips Foil electrodes

  3. Immerse test tube under water, and tilt so that it fills with water: remove air bubbles. Insert electrode, and invert. Keep the mouth below water level, and the tube stays filled with water. tape

  4. Repeat for second electrode.

  5. When all is ready, power on. It may take a few minutes before gas bubbles are visible.
