My life(temporary) in Germany By: ResiseRebecca Richnow Me in the U.S.A.
DAY 19: In the hotel It is been a while since I’ve eaten an AMERICAN cheeseburger and a Dr.Pepper with ice. I’m so tired of wearing this … this…dirndl with the black boots, this green shirt, and these spenders are driving me INSANE! All I want to wear is a T-shirt, jeans, and a sweat shirt. Even though it’s really hot here, I would rather wear shorts and not jeans. In Germany they eat hamburgers and I don’t mean to be mean, but I really want a double cheeseburger with extra cheese like they do the USA. Yet I’m sort of glad that I’m here because there’s a whole lot of chocolate which by the way is the VERY BEST medicine, besides laughter. Me in Germany.
DAY 20: On the bus Well our field trip is over and we’re going back to America (YES!). Huh... I can’t believe that I’m actually saying this but I think that I’m really going to miss this place. I mean yeah sure I complained (A LOT), yet there is something that’s telling me to stay. It feels like a part of me doesn’t want to go anywhere but HERE. I push away that feeling but it comes back, only this time stronger than before. This place feels like a part of my home; like a part of me. As we drive away from the hotel I feel like something’s very wrong. We weren’t going to the airport. The teacher has a panicky tone and it looks like we’ll be stuck in Germany…OH NO!
DAY 25: In a museum 5:12 Wow! I didn’t know Germany had so much history and so many different religions. Yea so what if I do fall asleep in ELA and SOMETIMES I fall asleep in Social Studies but still…. WOW! I’m gonna tell everyone back home about Germany’s AMASING history. First I’ve got to get my mom a collective spoon. Then my little sister wants a…. OH COME ON!!!!!Now why on Earth would she think that marshins are real?! *Huff* She is so dead.
DAY 25: STILL in the museum 5:22 (in the gift shop) Oh great...now I’ve lost my group thanks to MY family. Yet I still can’t believe there are toy marshins in there.*Shudder*.That is so CREEPY. Oh I found the group over by the dino exhibits. Whoa that is one huge T-Rex!!!!!
RELIGIONS: The religions are the same here and in Germany. Even though there are very many religions then main one is, in both countries, Protestant. Christianity is a good example so people don’t have many fights over religion. Water: The percentage of water is important because water is something EVERYONE needs to live and there is only a small fraction of all the water is clean. In Germany; they only have a small, little, sliver of water to get CLEAN water to drink from. Country Main Religion Water (oceans, lakes, etc.) USA Protestant 5% Germany Protestant 2.2%
DAY 45: Finally leaving Germany!! Oh thank GOD we are FINALLY leaving Germany! To my mom’s wishes I have brought 5 POUNDS of CHOCLATE. Oh boy we better get to the airport this time or else I’m gonna scream my head off. As we board the plane most of the students are talking about the adventures and what they got to do. Wait …hold on hey does anybody see that strange man leaving the plane with … what is that? Hey he looks like the most wanted man alive!! Oh no he saw me …. AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!! THE END….. OR IS IT?
