  3. Membership Update • Annual membership deadline 12/1 • Annual membership $35 includes tee-shirt • Alumni support of students at TCYS • Google group test distribution • Complete the member directory information form

  5. Treasurer Update • Catherine Covington is stepping down after serving as treasurer since last year • Mitzi Angly has agreed to assume the Treasurer duties for the remaining year • Mitzi is a CPA and Club Manager of Oakhill 4-H • Thanks Catherine and welcome aboard Mitzi

  6. Treasurer’s Report • Starting balance of $11,890 and ending balance of $12,048 • October income: • Membership dues: $2,415 • SOB sales: $1,050 • October expenses: • LT FFA Chapter (students) sponsorship: $3100 • Annual liability insurance policy: $240 http://www.laketravisffa.ffanow.org/default.aspx?ID=24972 Motion and vote

Dripping Springs Fall Classic • Dripping Springs Fall Classic (11/16 – 11/17) • Saturday 11/16 for steer and swine • Sunday 11/17 for goats and lambs • Transportation provided by LT FFA Chapter • Most of the entire barn attends this jackpot • Located at new facility on RR12 in Dripping Springs • Not in Johnson City this year • Watch for transportation logistic information • Don’t wait until last minute to clip your animals

Buyers Group Outreach $20,000 = $88,000? • Ronny Smith Memorial Buyers Group Fundraiser • Dinner, auction, and dance • Live music with Kevin Fowler • $100/ticket or $1000/table of 10 • Benefiting Travis and Hays County FFA/4-H • “Tax deductible date night” • Saturday11/23 in Buda http://www.elwebman.com/ronnysmith/index.html

  10. Fundraising Update • And the winner is???? • Side of Beef Sales $1430.00 • Side of Pork Sales $195.00 • GOAL $20,000! • Pet Shot Clinic- November 21st 5:00-7:00. All monies go toward scholarships for our kids. We will need volunteers so watch for the blast coming soon.

  11. Spirit Wear Update • Spirit Wear- will be here November 11th. If you DO NOT want your items sent home with your child, you must sign the sheet in the back with contact information. • We are wrapping up with sponsor shirts. We can not order them until we have everyone sizes. DO NOT LEAVE TONIGHT WITHOUT YOUR SIZE LISTED ON THE FORM. If you are a sponsor, there is a sheet for you as well.
