The Health of 11-15 year olds: A mixed bagAre 11-15 year-olds healthy: Results are mixed/Mixed results Good news: in France, most 11-15-year-old school children consider themselves in good health/ to be healthy. These are the findings/conclusions/results of an international HBSC inquiry (Health Behaviour in School-Aged Children) conducted/carried out/undertaken in 2006 in 40 countries under the aegis of /sponsored by the World Health Organisation(WHO) and published on Tuesday 2ndSeptember by the National Institute for Prevention and Health Education (INPES). Cigarette smoking is decreasing/is on the decrease, the use of condoms is prevalent among sexually active 15-year-olds and weight problems are less frequent than in similar countries. However, certain indicators are alarming. Cannabis consumption, although stable, is one of the highest in Europe, drunkenness is increasing and the attitude to school leaves a lot to be desired, just like communication between parents and teenagers.
