  3. D.C. Headquarters Project • Originally built in 1989, 262,000 Square Foot, 10-story office building at 901 E Street, N.W.

  4. D.C. Headquarters Project • Funded through $200 million in bonds, $180 million of them tax-exempt bonds issued by the Washington, D.C. Revenue Bond Program and financed by PNC bank.

  5. D.C. Headquarters Project • This project created the first non-profit village in DC to house nonprofits at less than market value so they could remain in the District.

  6. Nonprofit Advantage • A large portion of the building is dedicated to reversing the troubling trend of tax exempt organizations being forced to move from the District. • By offering office space and conference facilities at below-market value, Pew brings together nonprofit organizations, enhancing their relationships with the federal government and decision-makers in the city.

  7. Renovations • Pew has undertaken a multi-million dollar renovation of the property with additional upgrades qualifying the building for LEED Gold certification. • The property features a three level underground garage and a state-of-the-art conferencing facility.

  8. Pew Conference Center

  9. Conference Center Details • Located within walking and Metro rapid-transit distance of the White House, Capitol Hill and numerous federal agencies. • Fifty-one rooms can accommodate meetings with as few as two guests and events with up to 140. • And a full suite of in-house services—from catering to video conferencing to online collaboration tools—will enable nonprofit meeting planners and attendees to focus on the agenda and its objectives instead of worrying about logistics and other details.
