  4. Climate • Cold winters • Hot summers

  5. Animals • Large herds of buffalo • Prairie dogs • Eagles • Deer and cougars • Geese and ducks • Bears and more

  6. Food • Buffalo • Deer, moose, and elk • Wolves, coyotes ,and lynx • Rabbits, gophers, and prairie chickens were hunted for food

  7. Clothing • Buffalo skin • Dried grass provided decoration for the moccasins.

  8. Houses • Tipis

  9. Transportation • In the winter sled dogs in the summers horses and lamb and sometimes by foot

  10. Tools • Arrows • Spears • Tomahawks • Carving knives

  11. Work • Wood • Buffalo skin • Rocks.
