Hardware requirements • PC • Windows XP, SP2 • 512 MB internal memory • 1 Ghz Processor recommened ( 600 Mhz minimum) • Connected to the internet (Installation only) • .Net 1.0, .Net 1.1, Windows Installer 3.1, .Net 2.0, Internet explorer 6.0 (min), MDAC 2.6 are required but can be installed by the software • Monitior • 1280 * 768 resolution. • Receipt Printer • Windows XP based, no escape codes. • Driver software • Default papersize 72mm * receipt • Customer display • Epson characther set compatible • EPSON DM-D110/D-210 printer driver. • Cash drawer • Connected to receipt printer drawer-kick port.

  3. Software requirements • Mamut Business Software • Latest version of Mamut Business Software https://cdl.mamut.com/BIN\MBS5152/setup5152.exe • Mamut Kassa/Kasse/Butikkdata/Point of Sale • Latest version, 1.1.2523 https://cdl.mamut.com/BIN/POS2523/setup.exe

Software Installation • Mamut Business Software • Install the latest version by double clicking on the setupxxxx.exe file • Accept the default choices. • No need to display the readme file. • Mamut Kassa/Kasse/Butikkdata/Point of Sale • Start the installation by choosing RUN in the START menu • Enter the following command: c:\program files\mamut point of sale\Setup.exe /v" POSOVERRIDEMBSQUESTIONSILENT="1" • A screen displaying a warning on the MBS version number will be displayed. Press OK • In the prerequisite screen press OK. • The required components will be downloaded and installed. • The last component is the installation of the POS software. • Accept all default choices. • IMPORTANT WHEN CREATING AN IMAGE!: • There is no need to start the software after the installation. You can of course to a test, but create an image first.

  5. Printer • After installation of the driver software configure the printer

Customer display Installation • Download the DM-D110/D210 driver from Epson • Install the driver DM-D110/D210. • The filename is ADM_301aE_without_TM.exe https://cdl.mamut.com/BIN/POS2508/epsondriver/ADM_301aE_without_TM.exe • Create a new printer using this driver and call the printer “Display”. • Configure the printer according to the screenshots • NB This is an example where COM4 is used. The setting for writing directly to the “printer” is crucial. • You might have to restart the pc after installation.
