CLASS AND STREET NAMES • The drug is listed as a Class C drug. • Its common street names are Special K, K, vitamin K, or Cat Vitamin.
WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE? This drug can come like a clear liquid or a fine white powder.
HOW IS IT USED? The powder can be snorted The liquid (horse tranq) can be injected. This drug is very addictive.
WHAT ARE THE COMMON SIDE EFFECTS? HOW DO YOU KNOW IF YOU OVERDOSED? The side effects are hives, difficulty breathing, and swelling of face (lips, tongue, or throat.) The symptoms of an overdose is mental changes, vision problems, seizures, sedation, and slowed breathing. A drug withdraw is the termination of drug use/use. Withdraw symptoms are flashbacks, aggressive behavior, confusion, and death.
SHORT-TERM AND LONG-TERM EFFECTS The short terms are dream like states and hallucinations/complete sensory detachment-near-death experience. The long term effects are urinary tract and bladder problems, “K” cramps, mental health problems become worse; confusion/panic attacks/depression.
