  2. Aims and Objectives Create a research sheet in your sketch book about Emily Burningham Work in the style of Emily Burningham. Experiment with the Mono Print technique with a pattern repeat inspired by Emily Burningham.

  3. Born in London, Emily grew up surrounded by her parents’ illustrations, and their love of antiques and textiles. After graduating from Central St Martins, Emily went on to set up her own business, with a determination to combine good design with high quality materials, whilst also supporting UK manufacture. Emily began by designing cards and wrapping paper, but her flair for creating repeating patterns soon took her into textile design. The company has since  grown to include a capable and helpful team, and today produces fabrics by the metre, cushions and accessories, as well as paper products. Having found inspiration in a wealth of places – from the traditional English garden to Japanese design – the current range showcases Emily’s passion for print, colour, and pattern. Emily is constantly discovering new sources of inspiration and creating new designs to add to our quintessentially British, yet quirkily distinctive collection.
