  2. Mental Health for the 21st Century Seeking $1.5M to open 3 Clinics: A Round; $250K to Launch B Round; $1.25M to Expand 2

  3. Investment Thesis *Ref: American Academy of Pediatrics, 2013; List of Evidence-Based Psychosocial Interventions. www.aap.org/mentalhealth The incidence of childhood learning and psychological disorders such as ADD, AD/HD and autism is high, and rapidly growing. Psychotherapy and medication are standard therapeutic options offering varying degrees of success: Treatment is often “hit or miss”, without concrete measurable results, and in the case of drugs, can have serious side effects. NeuroTraining (NT) is a recognized treatment that complements these standard therapies, providing positive measurable results for the long-term.* No single provider of NT has consolidated the market, provided a branded solution, or developed a franchise platform similar to successful psychiatric, emergency, or cardiac treatment centers.

  4. Peak NeuroTraining Solutions Peak NT offers an approved new treatment for the rising epidemic of brain disorders in children and adults, such as autism, ADD, AD/HD, post traumatic stress syndrome (PTSD), and Alzheimer's. Peak NT harnesses cutting-edge scientific advancements in EEG Biofeedback to bring objectively measurable improvement for these conditions - and with it, the ability to identify the best use of prescription drugs. Peak NT also provides job performance training for adults, and is currently helping numerous clients reach improved levels of job satisfaction; including the U.S. Government. Neurotraining is proven and non-invasive. Whether for the treatment of a diagnosed disorder or personal performance improvement – our mission is to guide each person through an ambitious journey to reach his or her peak potential. 4

  5. A Growing Problem 5 • The incidence of ADD, AD/HD, epilepsy, autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and related psychological disorders in U.S. children is high, and growing. • 3.4 of every 1,000 children age 3-10 years may have autism. • Only 50% of autism patients are diagnosed before kindergarten. • 860,000 Americans age 21 or under suffer from developmental disorders. • Brain disorders in older adults, including Alzheimer’s and PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) are also rapidly on the rise. • There are more than 5 million Alzheimer’s patients in the US. • About 1,700,000 Vietnam veterans experienced PTSD. The lifetime cost of PTSD treatment of Iraq war veterans is estimated to be higher than the total direct costs of the war ($500 billion as of 11/07). • The CDC estimates the annual cost of care for traumatic brain injuries is between $9 and $10 billion annually.

  6. Our Solution Peak NeuroTraining Solutions (Peak NT) provides a proven treatment for brain imbalances using methods of operant conditioning. Peak NT retrains each patient’s brainwaves to fit a more healthy pattern using positive and negative reinforcement. NT is done within a cognitive-behavioral learning environment. Brainwaves are monitored by a trained technician as patients watch a movie or listen to music. Over time Peak NT helps patients redirect their brain patterns to more closely match patterns found in an age-matched healthy population (A Normative Database). As in all operant conditioning training, no conscious effort is required by the patient, but learning does play a part in long-term retention. The typical Peak NT Program includes between 50 – 60 thirty-minute sessions. 6

  7. Peak Neurotraining Solutions Growing a chain of treatment clinics. Positioned in the top 20 leading US markets. Each clinic generating $3M annually. With plans for future expansion to the adult treatment, online at-home, and software markets. 7

  8. Our Business 8 Peak NT plans to focus on clients who could achieve significant benefit from neuropsychological assessment and neurotraining services, such as those with learning related conditions like ADHD, ADD, autism, and OCD. Adolescents will be our initial market entry. Peak NT is developing a nationwide chain of neurotherapy clinics. Our business model will directly follow other successful medical businesses in psychiatric care, emergency care and cardiac treatment. Our clinics provide support for those patients with mild cognitive impairment, anxiety, stress, and behavioral problems through qEEG assessments, cognitive testing, neurotraining and counseling. Future business expansion will include clinical services to the adult population (particularly peak performance training for executives and athletes), at-home and on-line services.

  9. How NT Works Parent suspects abnormality, or Primary Caregiver provides referral. Clinical Psychologist At Peak NT confirms diagnosis. Present NT plan & initial training. Peak NT initial assessment using quantitative EEG (QEEG). Assessment Treatment 6 maintenance NT sessions over 24 weeks. 36 follow-on NT sessions within 28 weeks. Periodic check up. 12 NT sessions within 4 weeks. 9

  10. What the New York Times Says Peak NT Founder Don DuRousseau’s Patent No. 6708051 10 “One interesting option is a form of biofeedback therapy in which children wear electrodes on their head and learn to control video games by exercising the parts of the brain related to attention and focus. Research has suggested that the method works just as well as medication, and many children report that they enjoy it.” New York Times, June 17, 2008

  12. Science Behind the Therapy 12 Neurotraining is considered an approved alternative treatment, with FDA approval, a licensing body for the profession and routine insurance reimbursement. Techniques in neurotraining have advanced greatly in the past 30 years, primarily because of advances in research, technology, and application to related fields such as training of military and security personnel. FDA has approved §510(K) clearances for a number of neurotherapy systems (e.g., Applied Neuroscience, qEEG; BrainMaster). Biofeedback is governed by an acting body (the BCIA) that is recognized by the Federal government for reimbursement. The Biofeedback Certification Institute of America certifies health care practitioners as competent to perform a range of types of biofeedback. Over 350 publications focused on study of biofeedback, qEEG, and neurotraining concerning applications in epilepsy, OCD, brain injury, ADD/ADHD, depression, and anxiety disorders.

  13. Competitive Landscape 13 • Pharmaceutical treatments are the greatest competitive alternative to NT • Ritalin, Adderall, Concerta, Strattera, Methylphenidate, Zoloft, Prozac… • Other NT providers are competitors • EEG Info, Brain Resource, Scottsdale Neurotherapy Institute • More than 1500 nationwide (overwhelmingly single practice) • 6 other clinics in the Greater Washington Area • No local’s use science-based individualize qEEG approach • Peak NT provides most comprehensive mental wellness program • Common misperceptions are a threat • The perception of NT as a relatively unknown “alternative therapy” is a competitive threat to the initial expansion of Peak NT

  14. Neurotherapy vs.Pharmaceutical Treatments 14
