Restaurant Survey • Have you had any bear problems this summer? • If yes, when? How often? • Do you have any bear proof features? If so, what? • If not, what has prevented you from bear proofing? • Have you seen the bear responsible? Are there multiple bears? • Have you contacted CPW or WPPD about the bear? • If so every time – some of the time – only once. • If not – why not?

#1: Education • Create an Educational Task Force that will: • Maintain a Facebook page • Document the activity • Ask residents to post pictures • Provide information at community events • Begin a Bear week • Provide informational programs and videos • Overall - Spread the word
#2: Enforce the Law • Woodland Park Ordinance: 8.04.020 • B. Any owner of property, his agent or any person having charge of such property shall be in violation of this chapter, and therefore upon conviction subject to the penalties stated herein, if he fails to do any of the following: • 2.
