Short Summary • Jeffrey survived cancer and is in eighth grade, but the he’s definitely not normal. He has a limp in his right foot, and he just can’t seem to remember math. So when a law is passed that to go to high school, you have to pass the math final, Jeffrey is in a lot of trouble. It also doesn’t help that his brother that is also his idol, Steven, just abandoned everything and ran off to Africa, a new girl at school he likes that and thinks he's cute has arrived, and his best friend Tad is acting strange. Tad also decided to tutor Jeffrey in math, but it isn’t going to well. Then, in the middle of finals, Tad’s cancer comes back. Will Jeffrey pass the finals? Will Tad survive?
