Sections of pipe were pushed into the ground around individual plants.
The pipe containing the soil plug and plant was pulled out of the ground.
The pipes were cut in half to allow the plug to be removed for transplanting.
Each plant and pipe was numbered to track for monitoring purposes.
Plant and tap root that came loose from the soil. The plant is about 6” long and the root is about 18” long.
