LRP2010 Recommendations • Complete ESFRI Facilities • FAIR with PANDA, CBM, NuSTAR and FLAIR • SPIRAL2 at GANIL including S3 and DESIR • Complete Major Upgrades • HIE-ISOLDE at CERN • SPES at INFN-LNL • AGATA • Enhance potential of ALICE • Fully developenuclear beam programme • Upgrade to new kinematical regime • Support Theory • Develop projects for advanced studies related to the experimental roadmap • ECT* in Trento NuPECC LRP2010 Town Meeting Madrid, 2/6/10

Recommendations Cont’d • Fully Exploit Existing Facilities • Lepton beam facilities ELSA in Bonn, MAMI in Mainz, COMPASS at CERN, DANE at INFN-LNF, and the proton beam facility COSY at FZ Juelich • Stable heavy ion beam facilities at JYFL, KVI, GSI, GANIL, INPO, ISOLDE, INFN-LNL and INFN-LNS • Smaller scale labs across Europe • Underground astrophysics facility LUNA at Gran Sasso • AD at CERN and its upgrade ELENA • Promote Planning for Future Large-Scale Facilities • Inclusion of EURISOL in future updates of the ESFRI list • Intense radioactive ion beam at ISOL@MYRRHA in Mol • Technical Design Studies for PAX and ENC at FAIR • Technical Design Study for LHeC at CERN NuPECC LRP2010 Town Meeting Madrid, 2/6/10
