External Interface Specification 1.04 • Minor update, no new services • Published Sept 21st • Review feedback requested by October 5th • V1.06 has been posted • Comments & Responses • Some questions about Active Contingencies in SCED • Report the contingencies that have caused constraint violations • OR • Report all contingencies • OR • both • We will remove the Proxy and Mitigated Curve services from the spec and Sandbox 3

4. EDS deployment • Back-end integration with MMS entered test in early August for EDS and exited at end Sept. Several bug fixes have been made to the following services: • Three Part Offer • Incremental/ Decremental Offers • Current Operating Plan • Output Schedule • Plan to be ready to deploy remaining submissions to EDS around end November • MMS does not support mixed bidsets – but it has been expressed as a must have by MPs • Broker design is in progress • XSDs and WSDL for Sandbox & EDS will be republished with the new Sandbox services • EDS & Sandbox Namespaces will be in sync • Some schema changes in Sandbox to support new services 4

5. Service status on Sandbox • All services on Sandbox have been connected to, some revisions required to XSDs & WSDLs • New namespace convention – we will break best practice so that the constant renaming does not cause constant rebuild by MPs • 2007-06 with a version number in the XSDs • More calls for services to be available on the private network rather than public • Defects are being posted here: • http://nodal.ercot.com/readiness/sandbox/documents/docs/Sandbox_Defects.xls • New common services released to EDS and Sandbox 5
