  1. Access to training for specific skills and competencies YNPN provides skills training and professional development resources that young nonprofit professionals might have difficulty accessing or affording from other sources. Space to exercise those skills YNPN empowers young leaders by creating a space where they can lead and providing resources to support them. (This is where the how we do what we do comes in.) Access to networks YNPN acts as a connector between people and communities, helping young nonprofit professionals find opportunities and connect to their peers for fellowship and collaboration. Individual coaching and support Many YNPN chapters currently offer mentor matching to address this need and National is developing platforms to make professional coaches more accessible to members. Space for reflection and building emotional intelligence YNPN creates a space for young nonprofit professionals to identify and reflect on their values, their work, and their position as a member of the social sector and their communities.
