Ford E Series coil springs and components offer greater hauling capacity than original equipment manufacturer (OEM) springs in Ford trucks. They are a budget friendly upgrade to any Ford E Series rig and require little to no maintenance once installed. E Series coil springs work in conjunction with shock absorbers to reduce wear and tear on a suspension system. They also provide lift, prevent sagging, and enable adding heavy accessories.

Several mechanical systems employed helical coil spring. It can be designed to show nonlinear performance.
