  3. When and Where? • When: October 17-20, 2013 • Where: Hilton Toronto 145 Richmond Street West

  4. Transportation • TTC: take the TTC to Osgoode Station (Yonge- University-Spadina) • Driving Directions: From Pearson International Airport

About Event • 4 day competition: Day 1: Professional Competitions (adult, seniors) – all levels Day 2: Pro/Am Competitions (adult, senior) – all levels Day 3: Amateur (adult, youth) – all levels Day 4: Amateur (adult, junior, juvenile) – all levels, Amateur shows competition (juvenile, junior) – all levels • Master of Ceremonies: Pierre Allaire • For more information: www.torontodancesportclassic.weebly.com

  6. Additional Activities: • Booths will be set up; selling many different dance accessories from SUPADANCE, Ray Rose and Eckse • Dresses and shoes will be on display and available for sale • Drinks and snacks will be available for sale • Practice rooms for competitors will be available

  7. Target audience • Professional, Amateur and Pro/Am dancers across Canada and the United States • All levels dancers (pre-bronze, bronze, silver, gold, pre-championship, championship) • Ballroom and Latin dancers • Family and friends of competitors

  8. Showcases Latin Showcase by: Maurizio Vescovo and Andra Vaidilaite Standard Showcase by: Anton Lebedev and Anna Borshch Thursday Night: 10:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. Friday Night: 10:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.

  13. Why I chose a dance Competition… I chose to do a dance competition to be my event because I dance and compete; therefore it was a subject I have a lot of background knowledge on. I decided that it would be interesting to see how a dance competition is planned, since I’ve been to quite a few myself. I also found that I would have the necessary resources to help me with this assignment, but also that this assignment would be challenging for me, hence more fun to do.
