  3. Pretest • Three sections • Section 1-Knowledge and Attitude • Section 2-Knowledge • Section 3-Behavior

  4. Pretest-First Section Students were already fairly knowledgeable. Students responded correctly to 4 questions. For remaining questions had discrepancies.

  5. Pretest-Second Section Pretest called for three different types. 78 possible answers-some students gave more than 3. Most common Verbal Physical

  6. All types were mentioned by a majority of the students. Mental mentioned-prior knowledge. Online bullying mentioned more than electronic bullying.

  7. Pretest-Third Section • Behavior Based • Scenarios-students had to respond with what they would do • Showed they have knowledge of coping strategies • 20 used the strategy of “tell”

  8. What Did I Learn? • Good knowledge base on types of bullying • Clarify the different types during lesson • Focus more on attitudes throughout lesson • Every aspect of lesson

  17. What does this mean? • Most point lost- Content-feelings • Confusion with what was expected • Rubric should have clarified • Students did not look at rubric • Grammar area • Creativity-Very Good

  18. Post-Test • Same day due to time constraints • Section 1-Knowledge & Attitude • Agree/disagree with statements • Section 2-Behavior • Respond what best describes their behavior • Section 3-Knowledge • Types and examples of ways people bully

  19. Post-test Section 1 Question: “Pushing a person is a type of verbal bullying.” Pretest-3 did not know Post-test-8 did not know Reason???? The way the question was asked. Could have been a trick question.
