Statistics, will YOU be one?? • 43% of College Freshmen will drop out before getting a Bachelors Degree • Almost 60% of black college students DON’T graduate from a four-year program within six years. • Almost 54% of Hispanic college students don’t graduate within six years. • Male college students are 7 percentage points LESS likely to graduate than women; BLACK MEN are 11 percentage points LESS likely to graduate than black women.
Stats Cont. • White female college students are more than twice as likely as black or Hispanic men to graduate from college. • College students from the top income quartile are almost twice as likely to graduate as students in the bottom quartile.
