  3. Why we choose LA • We choose it because the city is so unique. Everyone in our group wants to live in LA in the future. So this made it the perfect city to choose. Even though its one of the most dangerous cities in the US it has so many amazing places to go to like Hollywood and the Disney concert hall. This makes you forget all about the violence.

Interesting Facts • Did you know………………. • More than 50 million people go to LA’s beaches each year • There are more artists, writers, filmmakers, actors, dancers and musicians living and working in LA than any other city at any other time in the history of civilization • LA County has 75 miles of coastline (imagine 273 sears towers laid on its side that is a lot!) • Seven Super Bowls have been held in LA • An average of 150 productions are filmed daily on LA streets • LA is the largest book market in the United States; home to more than 300 bookstores • Oil was discovered in Los Angeles in 1892 • LA has, on average, 325 days of sunshine a year • The average temperature in December is 68 degrees; and in July, 82 degrees
