Stacey Romo English 2,3,4, and Academic Enrichment Conference time: 11:30-12:30pm Tutoring M-W 8:10-8:40am The best way to contact me: stacey.romo@rockwallisd.org • I love my family * I love my job * I am a positive person * I am fair • I follow the rules...even the tardy policy and the dress code • I believe that EVERYTHING happens for a reason….. even when we don't like it or • don't understand it. • I am a wife to my husband of 25 years and a mother of three grown sons. This is my 6th year with RISD and I feel so blessed to work here. I love my school, my students, and my co-workers. For 19 yrs I was a stay at home mom and wife and I still think that was my most important job. I feel very blessed that I have another job where I earn money doing something that I feel is the second most important job and that is teaching my students. Teaching is a profession that I never thought I would pursue, but I'm sure glad that I have. • In 2004, I nervously decided to pursue a long time dream of mine, earning a college degree. That dream became a reality in May of 2007 when I walked the stage, earning my Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Psychology from Dallas Baptist University. Originally, I had not intended to actually "USE" my degree, I just wanted to have it to prove to myself that I could do it. • Please take a moment to let me know that you received this info and tell me something about your son/daughter that will help me be a better teacher to them this year. I look forward to getting to know you and your child.
