Homework, cont’d. • Long-term projects are chunked for all students • No surprise or “pop” quizzes- advance notice is always given • Homework board is used to help model planning for students • Extra copies of worksheets/rubrics are available on my website and HAC
Grading Policy • Five categories • Homework x1 • Quizzes, Tests, Essays x2 • Long-term Projects x3 • All categories balanced in final average calculations • Homework assignments are graded as quickly as possible • HAC up-to-date within a week
