  1. E.T.P.C. Step-By-Step GuidePowerPoint presentation for version 1.90 08-09-18 An easy-to-use guide on entering data into the E.T.P.C. tool with Instant Results Economically Trading Profit Chart

  2. EconomicallyTradingProfit Chart tool The E.T.P.C. tool helps when deciding: How many shares to buy? What price to buy? What price to sell?

  3. E.T.P.C. Tool Main Points Buy the Minimum Number of Shares at the Lowest Cost To reach a set$ amount goal In the Quickest Time The Quickest Time (to Hold a Stock)recognized as a Lower Selling Price.

  4. The E.T.P.C. tool has two Pages….

  5. …. allowing up to 12 Stocks

  6. Data Entry Page – for entering price, quantity, fees, dates, $goals Why are only 12 Stocks Allowed? • Normally, there are less than 12 transactions per month (1 Dozen Eggs) • Low $ Risk – 20-30% of Portfolio invested at any one time • (trading 1-4 stocks easier to manage than trading 100 stocks) • Hint: the remaining Cash I invest in short term CD’s • Flexibility (File is easily renamed for multiple scenarios) • watchlists, single or stock groups, Month, Year, etc. – YOUR CHOICE! • Note: All data is entered into the Blue cells or Broker# in purple

  7. The E.T.P.C. tool uses macros within the Excel file. (to switch from one stock data to another or between pages) • Macros may not function in Excel when the file is opened from a Web Browser, IOS or Google Excel type program. • Using the tabs at the bottom of the page or scrolling up and down I have found no issues. • No issues found with the automatic calculations. Chicken Maneuvering

  8. Data Entry Data Page Sections Nest Brokers

  9. The Nest …. By changing only the Egg 3 EKSO stock Broker# and the Broker #2 > to 15 ….

  10. …. The Nest The E.T.P.C.tool allows for the results of two Brokers to be viewed simultaneously in The Nest. The Nest is not needed for actual trading but can be useful for comparison and evaluations.

  11. Buy Shares Page Section Study the chart to determine if buying more or less shares meets your investment goals. My initial total shares is 1,000 incremented by 500 Comparing the Sell Stock Price column (along with my charting package with my broker) I decided 2,500 shares was the right choice, for me! I then returned to the Data Entry Page to change the parameters. Switching back and forth to the Buy Shares Page for further study .… changing the information as desired with Instant Results. On average, I spend less than two minutes to determine How much I will Invest, How many shares I will buy, my Target Price…. with my focus on keeping investment costs down for Maximum Profit!

  12. Data Entry Page– for entering price, quantity, fees, dates, $goals Links Click on the Quick links: Hawk’s Blog Hawk picture for the Hawk Stock Trading website Or Colored eggs for Other Links The E.T.P.C. tool page requires a purchase of the tool as a Password is Required to Download the file.

  13. Data Entry Page – for entering price, quantity, fees, dates, $goals Steps Set the Broker Fees -(usually entered first – can easily change) Enter the Stock Symbol and Data Switch between the Data Entry and Buy Shares Pages changing the data as needed View the Nest – to view Broker #1 and/or Broker #2 info The Nest is not needed for actual stock trading! After a stock is Bought from Your Broker enter the actual quantity, price paid, dates, etc. then confirm the sell price and $ goals adjusting the data as needed. (usually takes < 1 minute with practice)

  14. Data Entry Page– for entering price, quantity, fees, dates, $goals Step 1: Set the Broker Fee The Brokers section has a total of 24 Brokers – The Fee or Commission to Buy/Sell shares is entered into the BLUE cells. Fees are calculated automatically in a stocks total cost. i.e. – If your broker charges $4.95 to buy shares and $4.95 to sell shares you would enter 4.95.

  15. Data Entry Page– for entering price, quantity, fees, dates, $goals Data Entry Rule: Enter data ONLY in theBlueBox > EKSO If I did not buy the stock yet, I enter the stock symbol using lower case letters > ekso After the buy I change to upper case letters > EKSO Hint: If I see the Stock Symbol in Upper Case Letters, I KNOW I OWN IT!

  16. Data Entry Page– for entering price, quantity, fees, dates, $goals Data Entry Rule: Enter data ONLY in theBlueBoxes. 1 - Enter the stock Buy Price = 2.3256 2 - Enter the Total Shares to Buy = 2,500 3 - Enter the stock Sell Price=2.74 4 - Enter the Increment Share Amount = 500 Notice there are four eggs as only four Buys of the same stock are allowed. Most of my trades are usually Buy All and Sell All shares at the same time. The other three eggs allow adding more shares, if desired. Remember that each transaction incurs an additional fee and may have the same or a different transaction settling date. For a Buy and Sell on the same date see the SEC rules! The Total Cost and Fees are Automatically Calculated.

  17. Data Entry Page– for entering price, quantity, fees, dates, $goals Data Entry 1 - Enter the stock Sell Price > = 2.74 2 - Enter the Date Buy/Sell = 08-08-18 3 - Enter the Date Settled=8-10-18 Today is Aug 8, 2012. As an example of Selling a stock (remember, I sell ALL shares at one time to Maximize Profit and can always buy it back!) I only need to enter the Sell Price, Date Buy/Sell, and Date Settled. Usually I enter the date in the box below the last Buy to keep the original Buy Date. Don’t Forget the SEC Same Day Buy/Sell Rule, if it applies to YOU!

  18. Data Entry Page– for entering price, quantity, fees, dates, $goals EKSO Data Entry As the previous slide was an example, I only had to replace the sell dates with a Blank (spacebar on the keyboard) to return to the empty Blue Cell. My trading method is not rocket science nor difficult. The learning curve just needs Time, Practice and Patience! The chart above used to illustrate the trade EKSO with the E.T.P.C. tool in this guide is an actual Live Trade of EKSO I bought on August 07, 2018.

  19. Data Entry Page– for entering price, quantity, fees, dates, $goals EKSO Data Result 1…. • The chart above illustrates the Sell of EKSO on August 9, 2018. • Notes: Egg 3 • Stock bought on 08-07-18 (transaction completes on 08-09-18) 2 days • Actual Sell price I changed to 2.55 • Actual sell date of 08-09-18 (sold 2 days later so the SEC rule does not apply) • Sell transaction completes on 08-13-18 (two business trading days) • $551 is in My Pocket • And, Guess What?....

  20. Data Entry Page– for entering price, quantity, fees, dates, $goals ….EKSO Data Result 2 • I bought EKSO again on the Same Day I sold it - August 9, 2018. • Notes: Egg 9 • EKSO was bought again 08-09-18 (transaction completes on 08-13-18) 2 days • Actual New Buy price is 2.6090 using identical Quantity of 2,500 • With the E.T.P.C. tool I quickly noticed that a NEW $500 goal has a sell price of 2.81. So entered a NEW ORDER (as I thought the price will continue higher), the previous $541 Profit is in my pocket - took < 2 minutes! (as I only have 3 toes)lol • For illustration purposes, did you notice I also changed the < $ Risk price to $200?

  21. Data Entry Page– for entering price, quantity, fees, dates, $goals Data Entry Tastyworks : a Broker that trades Options and is not covered in this guide. More information can be found on the HawkStocktrading.com website I am trying to keep it simple for you, Folks! 99.999% of the time I only trade Stocks (as of now)

  22. Data Entry Page– for entering price, quantity, fees, dates, $goals Data Entry At the top of the page (near the middle) is a shortcut to the 12 stock symbols (Eggs) now active in the file. Clicking on the Egg number (an Excel macro)will take you to that particular stock. (unless the Symbol cell is empty). The last Broker # 15 and #16 are display only which may be useful to you. A Symbol box that is RED means that the latest Date Settled , for that particular stock, as not yet occurred. (2 or 5 business trading days)

  23. Data Entry Page– for entering price, quantity, fees, dates, $goals Data Entry For the SEC Rule Blue Box, to the right, MANUALLY ENTER a 1,2,3 or 4 if it applies to you. Remember, that you have to manually adjust this cell for each stock that it applies to. (5 day Transaction Rule for Same Day Buy/sells) 100 is default for the < $ Risk/Sell Price > In other words, “How much (in $) are you willing to Risk? Below the Total Fees, with Increment > is your Main Target Goal 500 with Increment Amount 250 “How much would you like to make? The same for the $ Target Profit > 50 and 25 25 2nd goal Target can be: Low, High YOUR CHOICE!

  24. Data Entry Page– for entering price, quantity, fees, dates, $goals Data Entry Breakeven >$100 and 5% loss are automatically calculated Clicking on the number 3 OR the Buy Shares Pagetab Will take you to the Buy Shares Page

  25. Data Entry Page– for entering price, quantity, fees, dates, $goals Clearing Data Click on the Symbol (to highlight) xxx. To clear the stock info for one stock: Press and hold the Ctrl key and click on the letter O

  26. Buy Shares Page – No data entry - used for making decisions. Buy Shares Cells are Self-explanatory with Input taken from the Data Entry Page and calculations are automatic. The Number of Shares/Total Cost/Breakeven price and under the Sell Stock Price of 500 (the Price to Sell All Shares (2.53 – 2.44 at different quantities 2,500, etc.) All of these items are used in YOUR DECISION MAKING to determine, “How Many Shares to Buy?” “What price to Buy/Sell?” to meet YOUR TRADING RULES. See the next page

  27. Buy Shares Page – No data entry - used for making decisions. To make the same $500 Buy Shares Selling Price of All Shares Note the differences in Selling price to make the Same $500. i.e. You might choose to buy 4,000 shares to drop the selling price from 2.53 > 2.45 (by .08 cents)?

  28. Buy Shares Page – No data entry - used for making decisions. It does take some practice to get comfortable with stock trading and using the E.T.P.C. tool, but always consider The Number of shares to Buy, along with the Total Amount to Invest in one stock to reach your $ Goal? Many financial advisors may say, “If you have 100k in your Portfolio, then diversify and invest 10k each into 10 stocks!” My chicken thoughts: “Would you invest 10k in Apple and 10k in covered wagons? ”Why invest $10k if you only need to Invest $7k?” Use the E.T.P.C. tool for assistance, it really is Cheep! Besides, whoever said, “ chickens can speel”? Buy Shares

  29. You may be thinking, “Wow, that’s a lot of information!” It’s a natural reaction to something new, and I anticipated many people will feel that way at first attempt using the ETPC tool. It’s like learning to ride a bike – you have to practice first! Good Trading to All, Hawk That’s all there is Folks!

  30. The following slides are provided as useful information pertaining to My Style of Trading and are not needed for this training. Other Trading Notes

  31. Candlesticks Stock price is moving UP - BULLISH A line at the top or bottom of a candle is called the Wick Open Stock Price 9:30am EST Stock price is moving DOWN - BEARISH Close Stock price @ 4:00 EST Sometimes you may see a White Bullish and Black Bearish candle

  32. J-Hooks J-Hooks are my #1 favorite candlestick pattern – used in 90%+ of my trades! Data used in this example: $3.48 to Buy and Target Sell Price of $3.84 (a 30 cent price move) Chart courtesy of StockCharts.com

  33. Scanning for Stocks Charting Websites I have used: Finviz.com Fidelity TDAmeritrade Worden: - TC2000.com - FreeStockCharts.com StockCharts.com

  34. Trading Plan 2018

  35. Set Goals Set a $ goal for the Year.Set a Monthly goal.Daily Goals are too hard to reach !Don’t be Greedy!

  36. Trading Stocks I trade $2 - $25 stocks as they are fast movers, lower capital investment, and other reasons I hold stocks for 10 min or longer and try not to hold longer than 2-3 months. Market Trend doesn’t matter to me Which stocks to buy? I scan on a charting tool for the 2 EMA crossing up on the 8EMA (Exponential Moving Average) and a Candlestick J-Hook pattern – I am a Technical Trader. Occasionally , I trade by chicken sense. Seldom by Fundamentals. I also watch the 34 EMA and 50 SMA (Simple Moving Average) For the EMAmore “weight” is given to the most recent timeframe. How many shares to buy? What price to pay? What price to Sell for profit? I Use the E.T.P.C. tool!

  37. Scan for Stock Picks Scan a Daily TimeframePrice range $2.00 – Your range250,000 minimum average shares per day2 EMA crosses the 8 EMA J-hook Candlestick Pattern A visual thing JUse the 3 or 5 min Chart as a trigger tool to buy
