RIGA Event Timer A032-ET • Graz uses routinely the Graz E.T. (Dassault Modules) • 3.5 ps RMS / TI; < 2.5 ps non-linearity, 2.5 kHz max; • Very good reliability; 5 years of operation now, • Additionally, the new A032-ET from Riga now in Graz: • < 8 ps RMS / TI; < 0.5 ps non-linearity, > 10 kHz • Very useful in Graz for: • Backup; additonal timing channel; • Continuous control / verification of both ET‘s; • In Progress: Measure Return Energy of each Return(via TI between comp./uncomp. C-SPAD output) Eastbourne, October 2005
RIGA A032-ET vs. Graz E.T.: CAL • Most important: Excellent Linearity of BOTH ET‘s !!! • Deviations within 1-2 ps; • In TI‘s from 100 ns (CAL:140 ns) to 150 ms (GPS) • RMS Values: Riga: < 8 ps; Graz E.T.: < 3.5 ps; that means for the Complete SLR System in a Standard CALIBRATION: • CAL RMS = 14 - 15 ps / 2.1 – 2.3 mm (with Graz E.T.) • CAL RMS = 17 – 18 ps / 2.6 – 2.7 mm (with Riga ET) • Both with standard setup, 2.2 Sigma Iteration etc... Eastbourne, October 2005
RIGA A032-ET Test Results Non-Linearity: < 1 ps; fits perfectly also to Graz E.T.
RIGA A032-ET Test Results Warm-Up, 4.4 h Stability Test: < 1 ps drift after WA; Each dot: Mean of 900 Measurements
