12. Ombudsman Training OBT is standardized
All training must be in compliance with OPNAVINST 1750.1F
It comes in many forms
It’s constantly evolving
Success is ours if we work together 12 CNIC has developed some standardized trainings:
IA
FAP/SAVI (SAPR)
Navy Safe Harbor
Caring for the Caregiver
NECC and its Communities
However, anytime you want a training on a particular topic, call the FFSC Omb. Coord. for assistance in finding the SME for that topic.
They can present at the Ombudsman Assembly Meeting or Advanced Training.
OBT is standardized and must be taught in the classroom.
Supplement OBT with:
Advanced Trainings
Assembly meeting briefs
ETC.
via : Classroom, webinars, virtual meetings, what’s next?
If you prepare a brief or a training, please ensure that it complies with OPNAVINST 1750.1F and supporting materials.
