  1. Designing your ‘station’ for the Medieval House of Horrors: Think about the OVERALL LOOK

  2. Lighting • The lights in the classroom will be OFF; blinds closed • (fake) candles, lanterns, colored lights, blacklights, etc… • Please no strobe lights!

  3. Sound effects • Screams, footsteps, scary noises, scary music (no words)etc… • Provide your own sound player

  4. 3D Objects/Interactives • What can visitors to your station pick up, touch, take with them, etc…? • Skulls, rats, (fake) weapons, fake animals, fake bodies, etc… • Giveaways

  5. Relevant Decor • How should your station look? • Your visual display (board) will be at the center of your station propped up on desks; you will ADD to this • Cobwebs, dirt/mud, dungeon bars, fog, broken mirrors, etc…

  6. Costumes • At least ONE member of your group must dress up; everyone CAN dress up! • Executioner, victims, folklore characters, knights, medieval doctor, peasant/serf, Plague victim, etc…
