New in 2011 Base API All CMA scores will count Grade 10 & 11 ELA and Geometry May impact SCFs, especially high school Some ASAM and Alternative Education scores will revert to the student’s school of residence Continuous enrollment means no enrollment gap exceeding 30 calendar days (CALPADS) Graduation Rate Grade 8 and 9 Dropout Rate

  19. Weights PSAA requires Assessments to be at least 60% Actual weights yet to be determined Examples:

  20. Impact Depends on the district Higher API schools often have higher graduation rate and lower dropouts Lower API schools will likely be more negatively impacted. Depends on the weights

  21. Likely Options Graduation PSAA Advisory Committee focusing on Option A (no floor). Revised cut points Linear from 70% to 100% instead of 90% to 100% More beneficial to lower scoring schools/LEAs
