1v1 Continuous • Move the goals in (1/2 field) • Lines at each goal line extended • Start with a 1v1 • After the shot is taken, the attacker re-defends • The next player from the sub line on that side rounds the crease and goes 1v1 at the opposite goal. • Emphasis: -Re-defending—going from O to D in 0 seconds -Fast Break 1v1 defense -Speed

Double Drill Start with a 1v1 (X vs. B) and then a “next” call from the adjacent D. She now goes to double. Start this drill at half speed and progress to full. X B N ADD another O and a D, who is responsible for the slide. The slider (S) calls the double. X B X N X S
Screen Drill Communication is key. 2v2 with a stationary feeder positioned as an outlet. The ball begins with a pass to the outlet, V cut to set the pick. D calls “pick” and “switch”=“I’ll take yours; you take mine.” X X D D F
