B. Sinter belt • As good alternative for Solid Strip Electrodes we sell Sinter belt. Our sinter belt have prove in the international market since many years. A big advantage from our sinter belt are the low production costs and the good availability (also for a small quantity). The production of the sintered tapes are, after the arithmetic determination of the target analysis, by mixing the different powder components. By means of a rolling mill, the Powder mixture is then a green tape which is compressed and rolled into a coil. Then this raw strip is passed through a sintering furnace, in which a reducing atmosphere is sintered to form a stable, flexible band. Finally, in a cutting machine, the tape at the edges trimmed, brushed and cut to the appropriate width. • Advantages of the Sinter belt: • - High deposition rates in UP and RES methods • - Width alloy diversity is possible • - Adjustments to customer specifications • - Cost-effective production even in small quantities • - Late Availability • Precise alloy setting • We can offer: • - Sinter belt for UP and RES deposition welding (width 30 & 60 mm) • - Very good alternative for solid strip electrodes • - Good availability – also for a small quantity of 10kg • - Material development • - Standard alloys as: • - Nickel - Cobalt - Abrasion resistant - Corrosion resistant
