  6. I am the stories told by all, the stories everlasting.

  7. I am Mardi Gras, Fat Tuesday, the day before the fasting.

  8. I am the taste of happiness, that make up every feast.

  9. I am jazz, blues, and zydeco, rhythm, to say the least.

  10. I am the sounds you hear at night, the sights you see by day.

  11. I am the midnight air you breathe, and every word you say.

  12. I am the colorful morning sky, and the evening sun that sets.

  13. I am the fields for crops to grow, the fisherman, and his nets.

  14. I am a unique culture, rising up from my past.

  15. I am in the hearts of many, my strength will always last.

  16. I am but natural beauty, hidden deep, places untold.

  17. I am Louisiana, standing strong, as I grow old.
