  3. Real-world situations are used in this video-based training. While there are several medical certificates available, it might be difficult to distinguish between them all. Most certifications have their own set of prerequisites, curriculum, and materials. The distinctions between BLS and Heartsaver Instructors will be discussed today. What Is a BLS Instructor and What Does a BLS Instructor Do? Basic Life Support (BLS) is an acronym that stands for "basic life support." Nurses, EMTs, first responders, and other healthcare professionals will benefit from this training. It's also for medical students. This training teaches adults, children, and newborns how to use different respiratory barrier devices while doing CPR/AED. As such, it involves learning how to utilise an Automated External Defibrillator, much as the HeartSaver course does (AED). A medical background isn't required for a BLS teacher. They also get the most comprehensive training of any CPR teacher, and they are qualified to teach a variety of courses, including the HeartSaver courses, which we will explore later.
