Conclusions 3/13/2014 NATO 2009 10 At 7 days FVIII and FV activity are well above 50% Fibrinogen activity is reduced on day 14 at 4°C -80°C AB Plasma can be stored for 7 days at 4°C without clinically significant loss of its clotting capacity Since April 2009, 137 stored units have been transfused without any untoward effects reported In addition, mutual support between MTF in Afghanistan became easier by using 4°C cold chain.
