CSE3 Fluency with Information Technology (FIT) Information Technology: Learn concepts and skills necessary to effectively use computers and networks. ADVENTURES IN Computational ThinkingBy: JU ANN PARK Computational thinking is thinking of multiple levels of abstraction. We can: 1. Solve problems2. Design Systems Use Microsoft Word to make a resume and publish it online. Work is accessible as a PDF or a web page. We are able to create calendars, web pages through HTML. Computational Thinking Making information available to the Word with HTML and Web Pages Desktop Publishing with MS Word We present data in a professional, organized display through the use of Microsoft Powerpoint. We use Powerpoint to create slides in which we are able to display our information. We created a presentation to display our hypothetical stock performance. We use a spread sheet to input information and create charts that visualizes our data. We used MS Excel to organize our annual budgets. Data Analysis and Visualization with MS Excel Presentation of Information with MS Powerpoint Dynamic Webpage Programming with JavaScript Visual Programming with Alice We create animations using Alice to make frogs jump in a pond or have snowmen face each other. We used the use of Javascript to create surveys and a coffee bean menu so that people are able receive public responses on the Internet.
