  2. 3,000 blood donors are needed every week in Ireland, but just 3% of the population give blood. That’s a shortfall of 400 a week.

  3. 1 in 4 people will require a blood transfusion at some point in their lives

  4. So go on, give blood. Contact the Irish Blood Transfusion Board or look up giveblood.ie Because one day it could be you
