An iPad is a great resource for school counselors to be connected and to connect with your students. In today’s world of iPads, iPods, and iPhones, school counselors need to be able to say I am connected. This session will provide examples of iPad apps that can be used in the classroom, with individual students, and much more. iAM Connected
How this all started… • 2012-2013 school year = My first iPAD • Didn’t really know how, what, why, when or where I would use it. • I wanted one because our technology coordinator said I wouldn’t need one even though the rest of the staff was getting an iPAD and we would be doing PD with it throughout the year…game on! • Research, research, research! • Probably used my iPAD a dozen times. • 2013-2014 school year = My second iPAD • Made a challenge to myself to use it 5 times each month in anyway, shape, or form. • My goal with this presentation is to share the apps I have used or found over the past two years in the hope there is something that you will find useful.
