Day 01 – RTI WEEK - 9th Nov. – Distribution of Blankets L R T 188 The 1st Day of RTI week commenced with a perfect project of distributing blankets to the poor & needy in the slums & streets of Ludhiana. The winter s had just made their way in Ludhiana and blankets served like much needed item for the slum dwellers. Initially we had planned to purchase these blankets but Chairman Typsy was able to get them sponsored free of cost. No. of beneficiaries = 20 Total project cost = nil

Day 01 – RTI WEEK - 9th Nov. – Distribution of Blankets L R T 188 It was a blessing in disguise for the poor & needy people residing in the slums and streets of ludhiana to receive warm blankets with the onset of winters. 6 Tablers were present for the distribution of blankets :- Chairman Typsy, Secretary Sudeept, Varun, Manu , Naren and Jaideep.

  4. Day 02 & 03 – RTI WEEK - 10th – 11th Nov. – National Publicity Day MOBILE PUBLICITY in Ludhiana L R T 188 It was National Publicity Day on 10th Nov. Tr. Jatin came up with a superb idea of generating Publicity in the city of Ludhiana by putting up 2 big size RTI Banners on the either side of a Tempo Van. The van itself was made available by Tr. Jatin for this cause. The van was mobilised throughout the city of Ludhiana especially in the busiest markets like Sarabha Nagar, GhumarMandi, Mall Road and also in Prime locations in Industrial Areas of the city. People of Ludhiana were really made to know of RTI and its activities. With students of Kiddies Paradise School, our efforts of publicising RTI received a major thrust.

  5. Day 02 & 03 – RTI WEEK - 10th – 11th Nov. – National Publicity Day Mobile Publicity in Ludhiana L R T 188 Chairman Typsy, Jatin, Anand, Puneet, Rishi and Sudeept were there on the 2nd day inside the van and mobilising through some of the most busy areas of the city of Ludhiana.

  6. Day 04 – RTI WEEK - 12th Nov. – Distribution of Socks & Blankets at NishkaamSewa Ashram, Ludhiana L R T 188 NishkaamSewa Ashram is one place where orphan children are educated and brought up. We distributed 35 blankets and 35 pair of woollen socks to the children at this Ashram. It was a mesmerising feeling to see the happiness in the eyes of the children and the way they greeted us each time during the distribution of blankets & socks.

Day 04 – RTI WEEK - 12th Nov. – Distribution of Socks & Blankets at NishkaamSewa Ashram L R T 188 Chairman Typsy, VC Vicky Gogia, Amit and Sudeept were present for the distribution of blankets & socks. The blankets and socks were all sponsored and no cost was incurred. No. of beneficiaries = 35 Total Project cost = nil

  9. Day 05 – RTI WEEK - 13th Nov. – TaareZameenPe L R T 188 It was time for TaareZameenPe – 2 . LRT 188 in joint accordance with LLC 110 celebrated TZP with full fervour and joy at Ashirwad School – A school for differently abled children.

  10. Day 05 – RTI WEEK - 13th Nov. – TaareZameenPe L R T 188 Some of the paintings made by the children of the school. Goodies including biscuits & refreshments were given to all the children of the school.

  11. Day 05 – RTI WEEK - 13th Nov. – TaareZameenPe L R T 188 Tablers present :- Chairman Typsy, Sudeept, Nitin, Naren, Anand, Amit, Vicky Gogia Circlers present:- Chairperson Niti, Shivani, Puja, Charu No. of kids = 40 Total cost = 2400

  12. Day 06 – RTI WEEK - 14th Nov. – Children’s Day Celebrations L R T 188 Children’s Day was well celebrated jointly with LLC 110 at Laksmi Ladies Club. Our twinklersalongwith the children of AnandMarg Ashram gathered at the club for various cultural activities, games and refreshments.

  13. Day 06 – RTI WEEK - 14th Nov. – Children’s Day Celebrations L R T 188 Tw. Riya– extreme left alongwith children of AnandMarg Ashram Cr. Niti, Shivani and Cr. Charu were present alongwith the children of AnandMarg Ashram and our twinklers to witness the colours and joy in the lives of these under-priviliged children Various sweets, candies and refreshments were given to the children of AnandMarg Ashram. These children were overwhelmed with joy to receive such a special gesture from the outside world.

  14. Day 07 – RTI WEEK - 15th Nov. – Dental Check-up Camp L R T 188

  15. Day 07 – RTI WEEK - 15th Nov. – Dental Check-up Camp L R T 188 A free Dental Check- up Camp was organised at kiddies Paradise School. Dr. Harleenalongwith another doctor from DMC conducted the dental check up of the children of kiddies Paradise School

  16. Day 07 – RTI WEEK - 15th Nov. – Dental Check-up Camp L R T 188 No. of kids benefitted :- 60 Total project cost = nil Children were distributed tooth brushes and toothpaste to mark the occasion of dental check up and were made aware of the brushing the teeth regularly after the meals by the tablers.

  17. Day 07 – RTI WEEK - 15th Nov. – Dental Check-up Camp L R T 188 The denatl check up camp was well covered in local news channel. Both the doctors of DMC Hospital appreciated our efforts in conducting the camp. Chairman Typsy and myself also represented the table and its activities during RTI Week to the local media.

  18. Day 08 – RTI WEEK - 16th Nov. – Distribution of Pullovers at Navkiran School L R T 188 8th Day on trot for LRT 188’s 1st RTI WEEK Pullovers were distributed to the children of Navkiran School jointly in accordance with LLC 110. Navkiran School is a small school catering to the children of rickshaw pullers, house keepers, daily bread earners etc. The school is being run in a small dairy.

  19. Day 08 – RTI WEEK - 16th Nov. – Distribution of Pullovers at Navkiran School L R T 188 Pullovers being distributed by the tablers and circlers Total no. of children benefitted – 35 Total project cost = 6000

Day 08 – RTI WEEK - 16th Nov. – Distribution of Pullovers at Navkiran School L R T 188 Local news channel Fast Way covered our efforts of distribution of pullovers to the children of Navkiran School. Chairman Typsy and Chairperson LLC 110 Cr. Niti apprising the local newschannel of the activities of RTI & LCI

  21. Day 09 – RTI WEEK - 17th Nov. – Fellowship Time…… L R T 188 It was fellowship time for LRT 188 again. All the tablers & circlers alongwith the twinklers gathered for a big feast at Satluj Club After all the hardwork done by the tablers & circlers during the RTI Week, it was time to enjoy some delicacies at the Satluj Club.

  22. Day 09 – RTI WEEK - 17h Nov. – Fellowship Time L R T 188 Liquor and non-veg was served to the full apetit of the tablers & circlers and everybody enjkoyed to the fullest specially because everyone was soinvolved in the RTI Week proceedings and celebrations.

  23. Day 09 – RTI WEEK - 17th Nov. – Fellowship Time L R T 188 Chairman Typsy surprised everyone present that it will be a table party. Everyone was very delighted hearing this from chairman and again started eating & drinking. Overall it was a lovely evening.

  24. Day 10 – RTI WEEK - 18th Nov. – Coffee Fellowship L R T 188 All the tablers & circlers met at Bakes n Beans to enjoy some hot coffee the next day. Some enjoyed cold coffees also.

  25. Day 11 – RTI WEEK - 20th Nov. – Joint Forum of NGO’s with Deputy Commissioner of Ludhiana L R T 188 It was again a CHIN-UP time for LRT & LLC as Deputy Comissioner of Ludhiana Sri VikasGarg gave us some time to acknowledge the efforts of RTI & LCI . DC was really impressed hearing upon the achievements of RTI as a whole and wished us good for more events in Ludhiana. The occasion was a Joint Frum of all NGO’s in ludhiana catering to the needs of under-priviliged children at Guru Nanak Bhawan

  26. Day 11 – RTI WEEK - 20th Nov. – Joint Forum of NGO’s with Deputy Commissioner of Ludhiana L R T 188 Children of various NGO’s performed during the cultural show LLC Chairperson Cr. Niti & Cr. Shivani were a key in generating publicity for RTI & LCI at this event

  27. Day 12 – RTI WEEK – 21st Nov. – National Fellowship Day at AC Tr. Manish Kapoor’s Farm, New Delhi L R T 188 VolleyBall match in progress at AC Tr. Manish Kapoor’s Farms. NAGM Con. Tr. Ravi Baid & Tr. Prashant over a single drink

  28. Day 12 – RTI WEEK – 21st Nov. – National Fellowship Day at AC Tr. Manish Kapoor’s Farm, New Delhi L R T 188 Chairman Typsy , Sudeept and Jaideep were present there to celebrate National Fellowship Day. The Volleyball matches tested the strength of tablers and everybody enjoyed till wee hours of the morning.

  29. Day 12 – RTI WEEK – 21st Nov. – National Fellowship Day at AC Tr. Manish Kapoor’s Farm, New Delhi L R T 188 Some moments captured at National Fellowship Day event Overall, a wonderful experience of celebrating RTI WEEK for the first time in the HISTORY of LRT 188 ended on a high note…….
