Colossians 1:27 God wanted to make known among the Gentiles the glorious wealth of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Colossians 2:20 If you died with Christ to the elements of this world, why do you live as if you still belonged to the world?
Colossians 2:22-23 All these regulations refer to what is destined to perish by being used up; they are human commands and doctrines. Although these have a reputation for wisdom by promoting self-made religion, false humility, and severe treatment of the body, they are not of any value in curbing self-indulgence.
Colossians 1:28-29 We proclaim him, warning and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone mature in Christ. I labor for this, striving with his strength that works powerfully in me.
“Because of that great victory of Christ rising from the dead, what can life look like for us?” “The way it should look like for us is the way it looked like for the early apostles, they saw the resurrected Christ and the Bible says they went out and turned their world upside down. It wasn’t scientific evidence other than the fact that they knew that the one who came out of the grave was the one they had known before He died.”
“And it changed their lives! If we really understand the resurrection it should change our lives. We have a message and a hope the world does not have and they desperately need it now. Because they are looking everywhere and there are no answers, but we know the answer, the answer is Jesus Christ, the one who overcame the grave.”
Matthew 28:18-20 Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Ephesians 2:4-6 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of his great love that he had for us, made us alive with Christ even though we were dead in trespasses. You are saved by grace! He also raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavens in Christ Jesus
Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Romans 7:24-25a What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord!
1 John 2:16-17 For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride in one’s possessions—is not from the Father, but is from the world. And the world with its lust is passing away, but the one who does the will of God remains forever.
James 3:9-12 With the tongue we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse people who are made in God’s likeness. Blessing and cursing come out of the same mouth. My brothers and sisters, these things should not be this way. Does a spring pour out sweet and bitter water from the same opening? Can a fig tree produce olives, my brothers and sisters, or a grapevine produce figs? Neither can a saltwater spring yield fresh water.
Proverbs 10:8 A wise heart accepts commands, but foolish lips will be destroyed.
