History • The ceremonial hall stands next to the entrance iron gate in Jewish cemetery in Třebíč since 1903. • It was built on the initiative of rabbi Samuel Pollak and thanks to voluntary gifts from members of Jewish comunity. • This ceremonial hall is the only separately monumentally protected hall in Moravia. • Its extraordinary value lies mainly in well preserved decoration and interior equipment. • The cemetery is connected to nearby Jewish quarter by a cart-road which was built in 1886 and reconstructed in 1903. • Funeral ceremonies could be performed there according to the old Jewish traditions up to now..
