  2. Action Plan 2012-2017 • 3 Goals • Expected outcomes • Priority activities Implementation of priorities: are we ready yet? • Status of the committee organizational structure • Resource availability for committees • Activity implementation

Charge by the Council “ Develop recommendations for a defined structure for committees that are clearly linked to Action plan activities and outcome, which will include roles and link outcomes to the Action plan based on input from the relevant goal champions; this will include a schedule for periodic reporting on progress to be built into the process.”

  4. Process • Establish the Committee Organization Ad Hoc Group • Assess current status of each committee and identify gaps • Align with AP activities and identify gaps • Identify resources needed • Where possible initiate work to start addressing gaps • Develop a timeline • Plan and conduct conversations with: (1) committee co-chairs, and (2) Goal Champions • Develop draft recommendations to the Council

Plan of Action • Identify the committee’s priorities to perform this task • Identify tangible outcomes that the committee would like to achieve • Specify challenges encountered in achieving these outcomes • Identify opportunities that the committee should/will take advantage of outcomes, and next steps
