Example of two gender targets included in CPRGS 1. 40% women in newly created job. Why? – Seen as first priority of different groups of women. 2. Land Tenure Certificate with both husband and wife names. Why? – research showed as a hot issue, esp. in rural areas. (Both targets are taken from POA2)
Measures to implement target 1 • Objective: 100% LTC bear both names by 2005 • Method: -Land Administration Dept.sets a target for every year - Specify number of LTC to be re/issued, give instruction to districts cadastral officers, allocate budget and staff, set reporting and evaluation format
Measures to implement target 2 • Objective: 40%women in newly created jobs • Method: - DOLISA sets up targets for different organizations - Integrate gender indicators into the national target program on job creation - Coordinate with concerned agencies to establish/supplement implementation measures - Set M & E indicators and process
M&E indicators • Percentage of LTCs re/issued every year by province/city – Land Adm.Dept.report to MONRE • Percentage of women among new recruits every year – DOLISA report to MOLISA • Women Union, CFAW monitor the progress.
