  3. VPN Connection Steps • Open Internet Explorer and point to https://remote.houstonisd.org enter your Active Directory username and password and select Login

  5. VPN Connection Steps • Install AnyConnect Secure Mobility ActiveX Control by accepting the necessary prompts and selecting Install.

  11. VPN Connection Steps • After installation is completed the Client will be connected to the VPN tunnel and user is able to proceed to access the desired HISD internal resources.

  12. VPN Connection Steps • If the installation has already been completed once on the local computer the user can launch the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client from the System Tray and select connect to authenticate to the VPN server in order to connect one more time.
