During the next decade, increase by 50 percent in at least a dozen states the number of low-income children reading at grade level in 3rd grade. Campaign Goal
Nearly one in three U.S. high school students fails to graduate. This climbs to one in two (50 percent) of African American and Hispanic students not completing high school on time. What We Know
Third grade is the pivot point -- 74 percent who fail to read on grade level by the end of third grade will not finish high school on time. What We Know
