2. Whats a series circuit • A series circuit is one that connects an electrical source with its components one after the other, forming a single loop. The current flowing through each electrical components in a series circuit is the same. The disadvantage of a series circuit is that a break in any part of the circuit stops the flow of current in the whole circuit.

3. Whats a parallel circuit • A parallel circuit is one that splits into two or more braches. The current flowing through each branch in the parallel circuit may be the same or different. But it is definitely less than the current flowing out from the source.
