My Experience & Background • Union Cement Mason – Local 478 • BA – Eastern Washington University – Social Science • MA – Heritage University – School Leadership/Administration • Teacher - Finley School District - 6 years • Coached: basketball, baseball, football • Principal/Superintendent -Almira / Coulee – Hartline – 4 years • Challenges: Teacher/student isolation, Occasional Cooperative Conflict… • Superintendent – Brewster School District – 3 years • Challenges: Discrimination Lawsuit Ruling, State Driven Budget Crisis, Gang Activity, Districts historical Levy Failure… • Superintendent – Wahluke School District • Challenges: 3 schools in Step 5, State Driven Budget Crisis, Gang Activity, High Staff Turnover, Language Acquisition…

  3. Wahluke Five years from now • All students reach grade level in reading and math before 3rd grade. • We are experts in teaching language acquisition. • All school are in the appropriate research based configuration.
