Place in History Konstantin Tsiolkovsky State Museum of Space Exploration History Is the world’s first and the largest Russian museum dedicated to space exploration. Sergei P.Korolev and Yuri A.Gagarin took an active part in its establishment. The museum opened its doors back in 1967. Maloyaroslavets battle of 1812The battle, which took place in Maloyaroslavets on October 12, 1812 became one of the key in the Patriotic War of 1812.
